So it snowed today… in the MidState.
That’s what they call it on the radio. I’m sure it snowed elsewhere as well, but I have first hand proof that it snowed in Lancaster.
The drive to work was easy, and so was the ride home, and since it’s supposed to stop at one tomoro morning, I’m prettie sure that the ride in won’t be too bad either. But who knows.
Right now everything is white and I have a cake cooling on the counter. It’s a Chocolate Sheet Cake, the recipe for which was given to me Fran O’Donnell. It’s a good recipe and I’ve made the cake part of it in any number of ways, but the right way is to make it in a flat pan and pour the icing into the pan with the cake when both the cake and icing are hot.
Timmie loves Chocolate Sheet Cake. And Timmie was very nice to me on Monday, so Timmie gets Chocolate Sheet Cake. Also wings.
We weren’t supposed to go to wings tonight in order to save money, because we are throwing a party on Friday. Wintereenmas. The week long celebration of the joy of video gaming. (All donations go to Child’s Play Charities) We’re only doing Friday and Saturday due to jobs and lack of funds. But tonight I was going to make Sloppie Chicken and we were going to stay in, but Timmie wanted to, and as I’ve said Timmie was quite nice to me on Monday… so wings it is.
We’re going in the Jeep, because the roads look awful. Timmie is picking up Cassandra in/near Denver and we’re gonna go…
Since this is clearlie insane, I intend to have a good time. But first I need to shovel the walk so that it’s nice and safe… also so I don’t have to shovel as much tomoro morning.
